Arrival at home

I wake up in an unknown bed.
Penina is lying next to me. She's awake already.

Oh, good morning, Luka. Carrying you all the way to this place wasn't easy, you know?

Oh, did I fall asleep?

Yeah. I guess you're still a child in the end.

She might be right. I made a lot of progress in the recent years, but I'm still young.

So, let's get ready. We wanted to visit your home.

Oh right.

I get up and get ready. I'm still wearing my clothes from the day before, so no need to get dressed.
Penina gets up, too, and I notice that she's almost wearing nothing.
Did she really sleep like this next to me? I wish I noticed...
However, she quickly gets dressed as well and we're ready to leave.

Let's go! It's still a long way to go from here, isn't it?

At least some hours. If we set off now, we'll probably be there in the afternoon. I'm not exactly sure when, though.

So we leave the inn and start walking.
We just have to walk away from the coast. Then we should reach my village after a while, I think.
Once we are close, I'll probably remembers.

I'm really looking forward to being back home again.
It's sad that we lost Frederik not long ago. I really hope he's fine...

After all of this, I'd rather be back on pirate island.

I understand. But don't worry. I'm sure you'll like our village.

Yeah, if you think so...

We continue walking along some path.
There are just a bunch of fields and rivers as it's common here.
And once in a while there are some forests nearby. But there's no need to enter them.

It's actually nice here. I think I've never been on such a huge island.
One of the largest islands I know is the pirate island, and it takes less than an hour to reach the other side, even when walking slowly.
Now we're walking for a few hours already, and still don't see the other side.

And even after a few more hours, we won't reach the ocean again. My village is pretty much in the center of this area.

But not much is going on here. It's almost like an ocean made of land.

After growing up on the ocean, this must be weird...

Yeah, it is.

After walking for a few more hours, the area finally feels familiar again.
I think we're on the right track.

And soon I remember some of the paths.
I've definitely been here before.
My village can't be far from here.
Just through this forest, and we should see it.

And after a few more minutes, I actually see the first houses of my village.
It feels so good to be back.

And here's the house of the girls.
I wonder how Lena and Selia are doing.
But first I need to see Bernd.

So I go back to my old home. Penina follows me.

When I arrive, I just enter.
The first thing I see is Sven cuddling with Selia.
She even kisses him.
So they finally got to this point.

Bernd is also here. He's now a little taller than me and has longer hair than before, still very smooth.
He's playing around in the beds with a young boy I never saw before.

When Bernd notices me, he immediately stops playing.
He runs toward me and starts hugging me.

It's you, Luka! You're back!
I'm so happy.

He almost has to cry. I've never seen him like this.
I'm also glad to be back.

Sven and Selia watch us, and while Bernd is clinging onto me, they greet me, too.

Oh, and who are you? Nice to meet you. Are you his...

No, we're not a couple. I'm Penina.

Oh, okay.

Anyway, welcome in our place. Feel free to stay as long as you want.

Bernd finally lets go of me again.
Sven looks at me in a weird way.

She's really not my girlfriend!

Penina looks unusually happy.
I think she already likes it here.

Oh, this is Mirko! We spend much time together now.

The boy also approaches me.

Hey, nice to meet you. Bernd told me a lot about you.

He looks similar to me when I was younger. He just isn't that slender. And his hair looks better.
But it still feels as if he just replaced me. But I guess I can't blame him.

I didn't expect that you'd really come back.

Yeah, a lot happened. First I couldn't leave the castle town, and then...

I think about my time with Felina and the adventure with the pirates.
This only was a few months, but it felt much longer.

Bernd already starts telling me what happened since I left.
Nobody thought I'd come back. That's why they let Mirko join.

And then he only tells me about what he did with Mirko.
Mostly about spending time with Mirko in the forest.
And Mirko joins in, adding some details.

In the meantime, Penina got comfortable around Sven and Selia.
She really looks like she enjoys her conversation with them.
